Lana analysis.

The Masthead- RollingStone is its usual red with a white outline, in Serif Font, making it look more formal, suggesting it’s for mature readers. Because the Masthead is a bright red, it contrasts well with the black and white background. It’s the first thing the reader is drawn to because it’s bright red, and stands out amongst the rest of the  page.

The Coverlines- The coverlines are placed either on the left or the right of the page, with the names of the artists in Serif Font, black and bold.

The Colour Scheme- The colour scheme is red, black and white. The red, black and white contrasts well with the black and white photo of Lana.

The Headline- The headline is Lana Del Rey. Her name is written in Serif font. It’s the second thing the reader is drawn to because it’s the next biggest and boldest thing compared to the masthead.

The Strapline- Inside story on a Modern Day Icon. Lets the readers know that Lana is known as a ‘’ modern day  Icon ‘’

The image-  The image is a full length black and white photo of Lana. She’s standing in-front of a white brick wall, and wearing a white swimming costume. The theme looks as if she’s in a hot country due to the foreign looking plants and her swimming costume.

The pug- The pug is shaped like a rectangle with an embroided outline inside it. The headline inside it is ‘ Warped Tour.’ And written in a white font, bolded, to stand out and contrast againt the dark background of  the rectangle.
